So, Hannah and I are on our way to Argentina…if we aren’t there already by the time you read this. I suppose there are several posts that I could have written as a prelude to this post, but I was not able to get around to those. So, to catch you up briefly here’s what has happened in the past couple weeks. God has allowed Hannah and I to get in touch with some missionaries (David and Kristen Fulfer) from Argentina who are here in town for furlough. A couple of weeks ago David asked if I would join him in a trip down to Argentina to finish up some stuff there that he needed to take care of. While I was not sure because of my PTO, we checked it out and found out that we could go. So, David and I planned the dates, purchased the tickets, and put a schedule together. (Well, he put the schedule together.) Now we are just hours away from taking off!

I’m going to share with you the itinerary that we have. It includes our agenda and things that you can be praying for each day for us. You will notice that in each date cell, there is some text in the top and text in the bottom. The text in the top area is our agenda and the text in the bottom part is what you can be praying for. Today, my friend from Córdoba posted a link on Facebook to an eBook to Argentina – Vivir en Argentina (Living in Argentina). The book gives a complete run-down of the country as a whole, the government system, the country’s structure, and plenty more. It is similar information to the CIA World Factbook. It is very educating. Check it out. It’s super useful if you are looking to visit Argentina for a short trip or for life.

Also, while checking out the DNI cards I noticed that the Ceibo, the national flower, was on the card. This interested me so I looked it up for more information. In English it is called the Cockspur Coral Tree. I think I might get one.

(Thanks to Humberto Terenziani for the picture.)

I have found many sites that give a lot of information about Argentina. Often it is not condensed due to the nature of it. I saw this page today and thought that it did a good job at providing a brief, insightful peek into Argentina.

¡Bienvenido! My name is Josh, or Josué in Spanish. I started this blog to share the vision that I have for the gospel in Argentina. Here you will find some of the updates that I have as I come closer to moving to Argentina. You will also find facts, culture differences, and many other things that I have learned while on my endeavor to  move to Argentina. So, stay a while and read your fill. Give me some feedback. I would love to hear what you have to say.
